A visit to the service department revealed failures with both the front and rear facing cameras.  While waiting for parts, I was travelling on the highway with the Adaptive Cruise Control enabled.  (Not thinking about a possible bad interaction with the ACC.)  In slowed traffic, my Jeep decelerated approaching a car, then suddenly accelerated.  I had to quickly press the brake before crashing into the car in front of me.  The Adaptive Cruise Contol should have disabled with the other systems have trouble with the cameras.
