The problem is I had set the automatic lane change feature to only activate when the turn signal was switched.  While examining the vehicle settings I discovered that the feature was set to automatic not turn signal activated.  What cause the software to change this setting?  The service tech could not find any problem but guessed that when the software is updated it goes to a default setting. This is wrong.  Setting should not change. The setting also changed on opening the tail gate with my foot.
