My truck as of today has 4900 miles on it. It is a one ton dually. I noticed this week two of the rear outside tires have cracks and defective tread. I took it to a tire shop and they confirmed these tires are bad. I tow a 40 foot fifth wheel trailer. If I had had a blowout it could of been a huge problem for myself and those on the road around  me. I spoke to the dealership I bought the truck from and they informed me they would have to see the tires and file a report with the manufacture of the tires. I had to buy all 6 new tires because I didn't want to chance a blow out with my trailer on the truck. I googled Nexen tires LT235/80R17 which are my tires. It says these are not rated for a 1 ton dually truck. When used on a dually it says its not the best choice for a 1 ton especially when towing heavy loads. The reason I bought this truck was for the purpose of towing my RV. I made that clear to the sales man at the dealership when I bought this truck. I assumed these tires were rated for this truck. If it's a defect I should be reimbursed from the manufacture for all 6 tires. If it's the dealers fault they should reimburse me.
