The contact stated that while parking the vehicle, the transmission was shifted to park(P), but after releasing the brake pedal, the vehicle rolled forward. The contact then noticed that the instrument panel indicated that the transmission was in drive(D). The contact depressed the brake pedal again, but after releasing the brake pedal, the failure recurred. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact applied the parking brake to prevent the vehicle from rolling and was able to park the vehicle; however, the transmission later became stuck in park (P). The contact used a code reader and retrieved DTC: P2004, P0700, and P0562. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2008","productMake":"CHRYSLER","productModel":"SEBRING","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
