Vehicle began to idle rough and experienced hard shifting and acceleration hesitation.  I checked the oil and noticed a fuel odor smell on the dip stick and the oil appeared thin. Upon mechanic inspection they found a malfunctioning high pressure fuel pump.  This part was recalled on other vehicles of the same model year due to bad welds.
