During my drive, I experienced a sudden, loud explosion within the vehicle. Initially, I believed it was either a gunshot or that I had been rear-ended. In a state of confusion, I quickly pulled over to the shoulder to assess the situation.  Upon closer inspection, I discovered that my sunroof had shattered spontaneously. I am certain that this was not caused by an external object, such as a falling stone. There were no overpasses, bridges, or surrounding traffic that could have contributed to the damage.  This was an extremely frightening experience, and I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention for safety considerations.
