The vehicle has had multiple dangerous incidents affecting steering and driver control.  Most recent event (dated 9/11/25): While driving at ~30 mph on city streets, an alarm sounded, the steering suddenly became very stiff, and the word \u201cEmergency\u201d appeared on the dashboard. This condition lasted briefly but made steering extremely difficult.  Prior events (approx. six over the past two years): While driving at highway speeds, the vehicle has suddenly begun to swerve side to side with an alarm sounding \u2014 even though the lane assist feature was turned off.  These incidents occur randomly, without warning, and cannot be reproduced on demand. Each time, she had to fight the steering to maintain control.  Dealer inspection: The vehicle was taken to the Genesis dealership after earlier incidents. They found no diagnostic codes and offered no explanation or repair.  Safety Concern: This vehicle appears to have a serious safety defect affecting steering control and stability. The unpredictable loss of normal steering or sudden emergency intervention poses a high risk of an accident.  I request that NHTSA investigate this issue to determine whether it is part of a wider defect requiring recall or corrective action.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"GENESIS","productModel":"GV70","manufacturer":"Hyundai Motor America"}]}]}
