After several attempts to restart with no success I called my roadside assistance provider and had the Equinox towed to a repair facility. After diagnostics on July 24, 2025 it was determined that the Fuel Pump Control Module had failed. The Module was replaced and reprogrammed. After the repair was completed it was brought to my attention that there was a recall issued on \"some\" 2022 Equinox 's but not all 2022 Equinox 's. My VIN was not included in the recall but suffered the same failure as the recalled units. No warning lights or symptoms prior to the failure. This continues to be a safety issue because without warning the vehicles just stop running. The Equinox had 45,939 miles on the odometer at the time of the failure. This in a know safety issue and GM should have included all 2022 Equinox 's or at least a broader range of VINs in the initial recall.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"CHEVROLET","productModel":"EQUINOX","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
