We took it to a mechanic and it coded C056D, brake module hardware fault.  He said that \"the Cadillac must go to the dealership, 2010-2016 SRX's have brake control module problems and they don't make the module anymore so it has to be removed and sent off for rebuild then programmed to the car.\"  How in the world can Cadillac have a known problem, and quit making the part that fixes it?  If you get on Cadillac forums, it is all they talk about on these models.  Cadillac should be held responsible for fixing this problem for thousands of Cadillac owners so that we can drive with no braking problems!!   We just got a bid from our closest Cadillac dealership and the cost to rebuild the part is $2000, labor $1000 and we would be without a car for 2 weeks!!!","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2015","productMake":"CADILLAC","productModel":"SRX","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
