Date of accident 8/15.  -called Ford the week prior to accident to ask if there was a recall because my break light came on. She told me there was not and they didn\u2019t have the part in stock to repair it if it was. I told her I would try to add fluid and that seemed to work and the light turned off,  unless I used my parking break. So I only parked on flat areas until it was ready to be fixed and didn\u2019t use the parking break, but that time never came.  After that, I got into the accident on 8/15 and even reported to my insurance (Kemper auto) that my car wouldn\u2019t break even though I was far back enough to break without incident but the car just wouldn\u2019t stop.
