On highway driving especially in frost freeze conditions this limits the drivers ability to see forward as road dirt and frost/ice are not able to be removed. That the fluid only comes out the bottom means that the part of the windshield the driver needs to see out of is not completely cleaned or de-iced limiting specifically the drivers vision to the front.
