When trying to switch gears from reverse to drive, the gear got stuck in neutral. My gear shift is able to move when pressing on the brake as it is intended to do. However, the actual gear does not change and on the dashboard and the light display from the gear shift still shows \"N\" for neutral. My brake lights are still working and the solenoid still clicks when pressing on brake. I was able to shift gears manually from underneath the hood. I did a complete complete reset and still the gears do not change. My e-brake is on and the car has not moved due to not being able to shift gears. This has never happened before and there have been no problems with my steering wheel, brakes or gear shift before. There were/are no warning messages or displays. Even though, there is a recall, dealerships have told me that there is nothing wrong with my car and there are no recalls at all. I am currently looking for a mobile mechanic since my car is unable to move.
