No functions requiring the touch pad can be accessed while backup camera frozen. Car was shut off  for couple hours and when restarted was still frozen on screen It did reset next day and has worked fine since. Checked with Ford and no known recall yet for this car though Ford has recalls for several other models with same problem. My 2023 Maverick had the same problem, was recalled.
