An unexpected loss of steering while driving.  I was driving on the I95 on my way to work when all of a sudden I lost the ability to steer the car. It took all the strength I had to pull over to the shoulder before the car behind me swerved in the nick of time to avoid a collision.  It was very scary. I turned the engine off gathered myself and turned the engine back on and the power steering returned.  I exited the highway as soon as possible and drove to the mechanic.
