Multiple warning lights illuminated simultaneously, including the check engine light, ABS light, and other system alerts. The dashboard appeared to flicker as though it was repeatedly shutting down and restarting.  When the brake pedal was applied, it offered no resistance and traveled completely to the floor without slowing the vehicle. To bring the vehicle to a stop, my wife shifted into neutral and allowed it to coast until it came to a complete stop. Fortunately, there were no intersections or other vehicles in front of her at the time, preventing a potential accident.
