There were no vehicles in front or behind. The vehicle immediately engaged the brakes forced the vehicle to stop. Fortunately there were no injuries. I have opened a case with the manufacturer. I have read on blogs that others have experienced similar ghost braking issues. In their case the manufacturer and service technician claimed since nothing was recorded by the vehicle, there was nothing to be done. It is unacceptable for there to be no record of the emergency braking system engaging. Out is a core life safety protection. This issue should be investigated by the NHTSA to force the company to reevaluate the safety of their products.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2023","productMake":"GENESIS","productModel":"GV70","manufacturer":"Hyundai Motor America"}]}]}
