It brakes with extreme force. It has happened multiple times to both myself and my husband while driving. The car stops and instantly I think I must have hit something that stopped the car. There isn't anything closer than 10 - 20 or feet away. this happens at a slow speed and is very startling. We took in in to the dealer yesterday and they told us they couldn't replicate it. It happened to my husband this morning again.  I looked online to see if there are any complaints to which I saw that there have been numerous complaints. Some stating that this phantom braking has happened on the highways at speeds of 65-70 mph. The thought of that is so frightening. An accident with injuries or deaths could occur.
