On initial brake application, deceleration was greatly reduced and required substantially more pedal travel and pressure to bring the vehicle to a stop. A \u201cRegenerative Braking Failure\u201d warning appeared in the instrument cluster.  At the same time, the vehicle\u2019s power output dropped. The display showed multiple warnings, including Electrical Vehicle System Fault (wrench-and-bolt icon) and Reduced Power (\u201cturtle\u201d). A message appeared stating that the vehicle would shut down soon. Additional messages indicated that the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) systems were disabled, further reducing braking support and collision avoidance capabilities.  I was able to stop safely, shifted to Park, and powered off the vehicle. After opening and closing the driver\u2019s door, I waited for all displays and indicator lights to turn off completely. A distinct mechanical clunk was then heard, consistent with the sound of high-voltage contactors disengaging. When I restarted the vehicle, all warnings cleared, and it drove normally again.  This event created a potential safety risk due to the unexpected loss of regenerative braking, reduced propulsion power, and temporary disabling of FCW and AEB systems.
