My car was completely engulfed in flames, nearby cars as well as the parking structure experienced heat damage. My life and others were put in danger because even though my car was electric, it was parked in a resident garage near other cars who are gas operated, which could have caused an even more catastrophic damage if the fire would've spread more. Dallas Fire Department was present, and a fire report was conducted (Incident number #[XXX]). As of today, the vehicle has only been inspected by the Dallas Fire department, as well as a virtual video meeting with my insurance agent from Allstate. Before the incident the car charged normally, was operating normally and there was no indication or warning signs to indicate that there were any issues that would have caused this.
