This is a safety concern which can lead to a fire unexpectedly. Upon inspection the  fuel tank control valve has been found to be inoperative and can cause a fuel leak during a vehicle rollover event, debris in the fuel tank, and/or the ability to overfill the fuel tank during refueling. A fuel leak during a vehicle rollover event, in the presence of an ignition source, could cause a fire without warning and lead to death.
