There was frost on the car & I had the defroster up high when initially getting into the car.  However, by the time I got on the highway, it was turned down to the 2nd level.  Prior to this occurring, I did not hear any noise or anything that would cause me to think there was something wrong with the sunroof.   The explosion caused me to duck down immediately, but there were no other vehicles around me.   The vehicle has been inspected and repaired.  I filed a claim with my Insurance company & had the repairs completed at a local body shop.
