Just after receiving the recall letter the output shaft on my Spyder went out. My bike does have more than the 37,000 miles on it. This is a known defect with this Bike. It is not right that BRP knows this part is defective and has a milage limit on it. This bike is my daily driver for work. I have contacted BRP and have been told as my bike has more miles that i am just up a creek without a paddle as I still owe more than $11,000. on this bike. I have asked for a call back and have not received any. I think this is wrong of them to put a milage cap on this part as it is designed to last the bike its lifetime. I have even told them i would cover parts if they would cover labor on this. I just really need some help with this issue.
