Took truck to local shop to repair a tire leak and they called me to ask me how I drove the truck there as they never saw anything like it before.   This is a major component that maintains the rear axle geometry and could have been a safety risk and should never be a concern on a 5 year old vehicle with under 100,000 miles.   Vehicle has not been inspected by any other parties than the shop and myself.
