The brake lights illuminate when brakes are not depressed, leading to risk of crashes. The car may be shifted in and out of park without depressing the brake, risking rollaway. The ABS is non-functional, a critical safety item standard on most vehicles that prevents crashes.   The recall was issued NOV 7th 2024, over a year ago. The dealership states there are no parts available to fix the issue and the recall is listed as incomplete [Part 573 Safety Recall Report 24V-838].  This is extremely dangerous and unsatisfactory that the manufacturer will not remedy the issue.  The warning lamps illuminated indicating this issue are \"SERVICE ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL\" and the brake lights remain illuminated even when the brakes aren't depressed, including after the vehicle has been turned off. These warning indications first appeared on my vehicle within the last 2 months. The brake light issue started December 2024.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2019","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"GRAND CHEROKEE","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
