The vehicle would no longer shift into gear and became undriveable. The dealer found diagnostic code P2813 \u2013 Pressure Control Solenoid G, indicating internal transmission failure. The repair estimate is 8,369.87. This appears to be part of a known pattern of CVT failures affecting Infiniti/Nissan vehicles, including the QX60. Earlier models (2015\u20132018) had warranty extensions for similar CVT defects. This failure occurred without warning and poses a major safety hazard, as the vehicle could not accelerate or be driven. My wife was pulling out of the parking area after picking up my [XXX] and as soon as she pulled out and shifted it to drive it would not. Ended up with a vehicle almost hitting them, which was a close call. After shifting it back-and-forth it finally went into gear and took it straight to the service center. The service center even said that they had to tow it into the garage because it would not go into gear any longer. I am requesting NHTSA investigate whether this transmission defect affects 2019 and later QX60 models and whether a recall or manufacturer remedy is warranted.
