The current Recall 68C (battery fire risk) covering 2021-2026 Wrangler and Grand Cherokee 4xe vehicles.  According to Jeep and NHTSA, owners are advised to park outdoors and away from structures or other vehicles because the high-voltage battery could catch fire even when parked and turned off.  There is no available remedy or timeline for a fix. This has created an ongoing safety risk to me and my family, along with substantial loss of use and financial burden under my lease.  I am requesting that NHTSA investigate the scope and timeliness of Jeep/Stellantis\u2019s corrective action and determine whether interim guidance or consumer relief is warranted for vehicles that cannot be safely used or stored.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2025","productMake":"JEEP","productModel":"GRAND CHEROKEE","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
