It prevents me from seeing cross traffic and pedestrians.  The dealer looked at the system and said it something I had to live with. This seems to be an intermittent problem, as sometimes it suddenly starts to work, or when I back into the street over the curb gutter. If I back the vehicle into the garage and drive out into the sun, the front camera is not affected by the sun. I feel this is a safety hazard to pedestrians and other vehicles.
