While driving on the interstate I75 the check engine light came on and the car lost power. This was very dangerous as it could have caused a very serious accident. Had to have car towed to dealership. Was told that the transmission needed to be replaced at a cost of $8,600.  This suv has only about 75,000 miles.  Upon checking the internet I found that this transmission issue has been a problem for a number of years and Infiniti has not adequately addressed it.
