The damaged seat and its components are still in my possession and available for inspection upon request.  The malfunction caused the seat to catch fire while the vehicle was in use, creating a risk of burns, smoke inhalation, and a potential full vehicle fire. This posed a significant danger to my safety and the safety of any passengers.  Not yet. The issue has not been reproduced, but the physical damage clearly indicates a failure of the heating element. I am planning to have it evaluated by a dealer or an independent service center.  Not yet. No inspection has been done so far by Nissan, law enforcement, or insurance, but I intend to contact my insurance provider and the dealership for official inspection and documentation.  There were no warning lights, messages, or unusual symptoms before the failure occurred.
