The engine immediately shut off and I lost power steering and power brakes while moving at highway speed. I was able to coast to the shoulder and the truck would not restart. The vehicle ran perfectly prior to this malfunction and there was no warning that a problem may exist. A mechanic determined that the Power Control Module (PCM) was corrupted and required reprogramming. I purchased a refurbished PCM and had it programmed by a locksmith to my VIN. The faulty PCM is still in my possession and available for inspection.   This is a very dangerous condition that could have resulted in a crash. Fortunately, this malfunction occurred on a Saturday morning with light traffic during daylight hours. I am scared this will happen again in the future because the cause for the PCM failure is unknown. The towing fee, diagnosis and repair created a considerable financial expense on my behalf.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2007","productMake":"LINCOLN","productModel":"MARK LT","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
