Had to press the brake multiple times to come to a complete stop. It is unsafe when traveling in traffic and unable to slow down fast enough to stop the vehicle which can cause an accident. The vehicle has not been inspected. Contacted a mechanic and described the issue and stated this sound like a master cylinder issue and it is unsafe to drive.  This issue did not present warning lights or message to indicate there was anything wrong.  We have read many similar complaints online.
