After several random occasions it was finally determined that the issue is related to the brake pedal sensor not determining that the brake pedal has been fully released. It requires having to manually pull the brake pedal up to properly set the sensor to allow the cruise control system to engage.   This does not present any clear danger in itself, however, after having the vehicle inspected the manufacturer service center states that the entire pedal assembly has to be replaced because of worn parts and that the pedal may continue to get worse.  While the mileage has taken the vehicle out of warranty that covers this issue the car is primarily driven on the interstate with minimal wear and tear on the pedal assembly.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"CHEVROLET","productModel":"TRAILBLAZER","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
