Toyota previously acknowledged this issue as a manufacturing defect affecting 2008\u20132017 Corollas and issued a Warranty Enhancement Program to address it. My vehicle\u2019s claim for assistance was denied solely due to the program expiration, even though the defect persists.  The peeling is widespread, severe, and not consistent with normal wear or environmental exposure. The metal surfaces are exposed, increasing the risk of corrosion.
