The contact's son was able to coast to the side of the road. The vehicle failed to restart. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to Firestone, where  DTC: P129F, which indicated a Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM) failure, and DTC: P102B, which indicated a sensor circuit failure, were retrieved. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at Firestone. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V013000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHSTA Hotline for assistance.
