This is a major safety concern for my family and me while commuting in our family vehicle. If a vehicle behind us follows too closely and does not brake as rapidly as this faulty feature activates, it could cause a severe rear-end collision, or the driver may swerve into the other lane and collide with other vehicles to avoid hitting my vehicle, which has suddenly decreased speed. Other safety concerns related to this faulty braking feature include passenger whiplash and strains when the vehicle suddenly decelerates, instability on wet/snowy/icy roads, and the loss of an important safety feature.
