When trying to accelerate to pass another vehicle or to merge onto a freeway are the scariest and most dangerous instances. Taking your foot off the accelerator does allow the engine to regain speed. The salesman that we had experienced this on a test ride with me.  In reading previous turbo problems with Audi/ Volkswagen vehicles, I\u2019m concerned that this may become a safety issue.
