It would not restart.  We were able to get to the side of the road and call for a tow truck.  It was towed to the dealer where we purchased.  It sat in the parking lot for a few days and they were able to restart it.  The dealer could not find anything wrong.  On 12/19/2025 the vehicle again unexpectedly stalled doing 50 mph on a three lane highway.  It would not start.  With a lot of beeping and cutting off upset drivers we were able to get the car off the road.  We again had it towed to the dealer where we bought it new. They found there was a faulty fuel pump driver module.  They replaced the module and we picked up and paid $386.62.  It seems to be running fine now, but found this issue is a recall for many equinoxes with the same car years but my vin is not listed in the recall.  I also see the replacement modules are being recalled.  This is a dangerous situation for myself, my family, passengers and others on the road.  This vehicle dies with no warning.  No lights go on.  It just plain stops running.  No one should have to pay for this repair no matter the vin.  Note this equinox has less than 60,000 miles on it.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"CHEVROLET","productModel":"EQUINOX","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
