In addition, the contact had to apply extra pressure on the brake pedal to stop the vehicle. The contact stated that there was an abnormal squeaking sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed; however, no cause for the failure was found. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance.
