Sometimes it works, but over the past 2-3 years it happens progressively more. My vehicle is about 6 years old and the display now work correctly almost never. This is a safety issue because I now have no way of knowing if I am running out of gas because the display most often shows me nothing, and sometimes shows more gas on the gauge that there actually is. This could lead to my vehicle stalling in traffic or leaving me stranded somewhere unsafe. I also seldom can see the milage and oil life, which means I don't have any way to know if my car is due for important service that ensures it is operating safely.
