That immediately reduced the vehicle maximum speed to about 25mph, causing a hazard to myself and following drivers who were traveling at 55mph or more.  I limped about 3 miles to the next exit, where Hyundai arranged for a tow and warranty service to replace the faulty parts.  There were no prior symptoms or warnings.  As this is both a known, ongoing (several years)Hyundai issue and apparently unrelated to driver behavior/practices, perhaps an NHTSA query will inspire Hyundai to actually resolve this issue instead of simply replacing the part(s)?","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2025","productMake":"HYUNDAI","productModel":"IONIQ 6","manufacturer":"Hyundai Motor America"}]}]}
