Had it towed to the dealership and was told that the transmission was no longer operational.   Truck was 5.5 years old with a little over 60k miles. I was on the way to pick up my daughter and thankfully, she was not in the truck when this occurred.  Truck did routine maintenance at Chevy dealerships only.
