This causes the Passenger Occupancy Seat Sensor to fail.  The seat does not recognize that she is there.  The seat belt alert does not chime and the air bag is turned off. I have called KIA and they have no fix. I have talked to the dealer and they have no fix. I can not override the air bag and turn it on manually.    We have tried multiple cushions and pillows.  It does work without the cushion but this is not an option for her body.
