With traffic behind me I shifted the transmission to neutral. When the tachometer dropped to a normal level I shifted the transmission to drive and off we went.   Since then have sent it back to the dealer to find the root cause of the problem. During this time I was provided with a loaner that just happens to be the same year make and model. Upon leaving work yesterday with it, the exact same loss of power upon leaving an intersection occurred.  And again the only way to get the vehicle to move, required shifting the transmission to neutral then back to drive.
