The left side of the screen displays vertical colored lines, while the remainder of the screen is dark/black and unresponsive. As a result, the backup camera display is no longer visible, and touchscreen functionality is severely limited or unusable.  Component or System That Failed The failed component appears to be the infotainment touchscreen/display unit, including the integrated rearview (backup) camera display system. The vehicle and the defective screen are currently available for inspection upon request.  Safety Risk This failure created a safety risk because the backup camera is required for safe reversing, especially when pedestrians, children, or objects may be behind the vehicle. Without a functioning screen, visibility is significantly reduced, increasing the risk of a collision, property damage, or injury while backing up.  Reproduction or Confirmation The problem occurs consistently and has not resolved on its own.
