Shortly after starting my 6.2 engine in my garage, if I shift my 8L90 transmission into Drive as soon as the engine RPMs settle to idle, the vehicle will lurch forward, screeching the tires.  Luckily, I had my foot on the brake hard enough such that no one was injured.  The harsh transmission shift into drive is dangerous, possible injuring passengers or my garage door.  I've learned that if I wait 5 to 10 seconds, allowing the engine to idle (while the transmission oil becomes pressurized ??), then the shift into drive is normal, without any lurch.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2017","productMake":"GMC","productModel":"SIERRA 1500","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
