This is a safety concern that could disable my use of my cell in calling 911 in case of a emergency and also being able to locate the vehicle via GPS.  It also disables the SOS function in the radio head.  This is a known problem with these radio's but hasn't addressed by the manufacture.  I have taken this to my local auto repair shop today and was made aware of the problem and told me to look it up and report it.
