My heater core erupted in my truck last week and the coolant vaporized into a thick smoke that smothered me in my cabin that i had to pull over and air our my vehicle i believe this is due to the dash boards getting really hot i took it to savage dodge on 61 in reading pa 19605 they diagnosed it as a heater core and heater core hoses. I called Stellantis manufacturing to ask them to review the manufacturing defect the customer service line wants nothing to do with this even after i stressed to them the dangers of inhaling vaporized coolant and the fire hazard their dash boards present. They keep denying the claim to fix this and I am trying to stop someone from dying before they decide to correct the problem. I am a 10 year master mechanic and 8 year master diagnostician in the auto industry this needs to be addressed my friends 25 dodge promaster with 21,xxx miles on it had the heater core erupt on his too but his is inder warranty.
