They go on without rain or any debris on the windshield.  I already took it to a Volkswagen dealer and they accepted the error and replaced the steering wheel, saying this was the cause. With the new steering wheel, the problem is still going on and they don\u2019t offer any solutions because they don\u2019t understand what is happening to the car. This is very distracting and I\u2019ve been close to crashing due to the wipers going on and off consistently.
