At 143,000 miles the engine failed because of the displacement on demand fuel injection system/lifters. Lifter failed without warning, destroyed the camshaft, cam bearing and crank and crank bearings. Chevrolet/GM were no help at all and took on responsibility for building defective engines they knew would fail after the warranty expired.
