This cause my view forward to be complete blocked for several seconds until I could get it back into a position to successfully fold it back to its storage position.  During this time I could not see any traffic, and had to turn my attention to the sun visor so to return my view of the highway.  In my opinion, this put me and other drivers at risk because of  1) the period of time to remove the visor from blocking my sight, and 2) the inability to use this safety feature when it is needed.  I have a video of the sun visor and how it blocked my view, but cannot upload it.  Please observe closely the plastic where the sun visor retention happens, and broke.  Without a design change, this will happen again.
